Blogger can't really be a viable part of Google for Education since the ruling came about regarding age limits. There aren't too many students 18 or over that do writing assignments.
Would it be so terrible for Google to add the ability for teachers to create classes and have students write journals, create post, etc., and not be visible to the world until a teacher approved it. All it would take is for students to use a nickname or just a first name with no other identifying information.
My favorite part is that it is still part of the Level 2 Educator Exam, knowing we can't use it in a classroom. I guess teachers can still write blog posts and embed them into the website, but most are way to busy to do that. If the posts are for students it is easier to do it in Classroom.
